Paint, Ink and new tires made out of 25.000 tonnes of worn rubber

In the Nederweert, Black Bear started to take a large recycling plant for car tires into service. CEO Martijn Lopes Cardozo: “Even with oil prices below $ 50 per barrel our process is profitable.”

The new plant recycles annually more than 2 million worn tires to steel, (bio) fuels and high-grade carbon black. Black Bear sells this controlled-produced “carbon black powder ‘ to customers that turn the powder into printer ink, paint or re-make of tires.
